We Eat With Our Eyes...
Ultimately, people will come to your restaurant, and come back to your restaurant because of the food. A well presented dish is essential to the success of your business. How many times have your heard, "Presentation is everything!" There is a lot of truth to this because we eat with our eyes first. How many times have you passed a window full of beautiful pasteries and not stopped to drool or at least glance at them? I don't even like sweets that much, but I always stop and look because they are wonderful works of art.
Food is an Art
Every dish you present should be a work of art - culinary art! And of course it goes without saying that the taste of the meal should stand up fully to the presentation. A well defined menu, perfectly prepared food, and efficient service are all important elements of creating a memorable dining experience.
Sight & Smell
A delicious burger, loaded with fixings, accompanied with hot, crisp seasoned french fries and served on a simple plate as in the image to the right, prepares the diner for a pleasant eating experience. Displaying a very appetizing meal (especially for someone who is really hungry!) and releasing the aromas of the burger, fries and condiments is the beginning of the food experience, which is why they came here in the first place!

Taste & Texture
Naturally, taste is an extremely important aspect of the success of your restaurant. But in addition to taste, texture plays a very important role in defining the image of your food and ultimately your establishment. An over cooked burger may taste okay, but wouldn't a juicier one be better? Seared Ahi is a popular favorite, and very flavorful, but not if it's too tough or too limp. Are the fries crisp and hot, or warm and soggy? At the end of the day, this is what your customers will remember.
"It is important to experiment and endlessly seek after
creating the best possible flavors when preparing foods.
That means not being afraid to experiment with various ingredients."
~ Rocco DiSpirito
